Inside Kids2 Spotlight Story

23 September 2020

At Kids2, we have the opportunity to work with amazingly talented people everyday around the world, and through our Inside Kids2 spotlight stories we feature team members from different departments.

For this feature we interviewed Patricia Fang from our Accounting team to get to know more about her role and her interests both inside and outside of Kids2.

Patricia joined our global Accounting team at the beginning of October 2019. As our Controller in China, Patricia is based in Jiujiang.

Patricia brings 25 years of accounting and financial management experience working for several multinational manufacturing companies in China. Patricia is skilled in financial planning, operational analysis, cost management, internal controls, tax planning, and implementing ERP systems while partnering with company leadership to make financially sound strategic decisions for the overall success of the company. She holds an Industrial Accounting degree from Zhejiang Economic College and a Business Administration degree from Tianjin University. Her background in accounting, financial management, and ERP systems is extremely beneficial as we opened Winvention.

With your in-depth experience, what have you found to be the most rewarding part of your job?Patricia Fang photo 02.png

It is exciting to be working in a brand-new factory experiencing the growth of Winvention with my coworkers. I am quite proud of working with the enthusiastic and responsible MFE team as we worked together to set up the finance team and implemented the ERP system to meet both PRC and US GAAP’s requirements in very tight deadline.

As we open our factory, the Winvention team follows the Kids2 Way establishing the behaviors we aspire to use when running our business and the way we treat our customers and suppliers, and the way we work with each other.

Patricia, what is your Favorite Kids2 Way Fundamental?

Assume Positive Intent.

Life is full of light and hope, and no matter what happens, it is important to see it in a positive and kind perspective. If you view things and people in a negative way, and feel that everything is full of malice, then your life will gradually fall into darkness.

What are some of your favorite things to do outside of work?

Travelling, playing badminton, practicing yoga, and volunteering.

Playing badminton two or three times per week is the secret of keeping me look younger.

As a volunteer, I have the chance to accompany disabled children and feel their misfortune, which makes me deeply thankful for what I have. Now, I am ready to face adversity, accept it, deal with it, and let it go.

What attracted you to Kids2 and working for a company creating baby products?

The Kids2 Way is a great company culture. If everyone can really understand and follow it, it helps the team to work better and make Kids2 become a warmer family.

Children are the future of the world. I feel honored to be working at Kid2 and be a part of creating smart, safe baby products for each family.

What would you tell someone looking to work at Kids2? Why join the team?

Kids2 is a great company and we welcome to join our warm family.
